I have been a sound Christian for over 25 years and have been in children's ministry for over 20 years.  While I make my living as a registered nurse and have been helping to save lives for 24 years, the Lord put it heavy on my heart to help save souls.
My intent, in purchasing the property, is to glorify the Lord by repurposing it.  My vision is to create a 1950s/1960s style restaurant with an old fashioned ice cream parlor designed to reach more souls for Christ.  The name will be "The Master's Plan Café" and each ice cream will be named after something from the Bible.
It will be a faith based haven for families to help lead children and parents to the Lord. 50% of the profits will be donated to those in need.  I am also praying for the Lord's assistance in developing a way to involve children in community service to provide further glory to the Lord and to give back to the community.  The building itself is in need of major renovation to make this vision a reality.
Artist's and Rendering of The Masters Plan Café
On April 8, 2006, I purchased a former bar with three acres of land when it came up for auction in Dayton, NY where I live (Dayton is a small town approximately 40 miles south of Buffalo, NY.)
The Masters Plan Cafe
A Community Outreach in Dayton New York
Since 2006, the Town of Dayton has been instrumental in submitting 2 grants to the Restore New York program on behalf of the project.  To date, we have been unsuccessful in obtaining grant money.  There have been 4 different chicken BBQs held not only to allow the local community and the surrounding communities to know the building is being repurposed, but also in attempt to further raise funds for the project.
The Lord continues to teach me to trust him for the resources to accomplish this goal.  I have been praying for the Lord's direction in this journey, both alone and with friends.  I also humbly ask you to pray about this as well.  I am but a vessel of the Lord in this journey, and welcome all fellow travelers on this journey - whether you are a prayer partner, a volunteer, advisor, etc.  You can contact me at themastersplancafe@gmail.com.  May the Lord God bless and keep you always.
Volunteers have come from as far north as Brockport, NY and as far south as Warren, Pa to donate endless amounts of time, talent, materials and money (Work and Play).
