Angie Mardino-Miller, Christian Leader
Mardino-Miller serves as Executive director of The Master’s Plan Ministries, since 2006. Prior she has 30years experience in youth ministry. Her leadership role was impacted by her career as a Registered Nurse, Angie has worked in healthcare since 1981 with a wide diversity of experience from interim Vice President and Director of Acute Care Services, Critical Care and Emergency Medicine, Supervisor, Office Manager, Maternity, Urgent Care, Detox, to Medically Supervised Withdrawal. In this capacity, Angie has overseen and worked with an incredibly talented, dedicated team of healthcare professionals who interact directly with patients in the following areas: Energetic and motivational Registered Nurse and leader dedicated to driving top-quality patient care. Angie’s energy has positively impacted her Christian leadership, as she continues to lead an entire community.
Angie Mardino-Miller, Food Pantry Position
The Executive Board of Directors support the work of the Dayton Food Pantry and provide mission-based leadership and strategic governance. While day-to-day operations are led by the Dayton Food Pantry Director, the Board of Executive Director’s relationship is a collaborative partnership and the appropriate involvement of the Board is both critical and expected. Specific Board member responsibilities include:

Growing Up Mardino-Miller
Angeline Marie Mardino, born August 29, 1961, is the second of four girls of Bob Mardino and his wife, Darlene Morley Mardino. Raised in Dayton as well as living in Dayton as an adult, has given Mardino-Miller a heart for this very poor area.
In his autobiography, Registered Nurse with a Cause, to help the hungry and hurting, Mardino-Miller explained that “just being the daughter of Bob and Darlene Mardino, taught her to help the weak and the fragile. As a rebel, Mardino-Miller was very hard to keep in a box, she always felt she could do more, and more she did.” she knew that she was being called to do more with her life and she needed to make a real commitment to God. So, at age 23, she committed his life to Jesus Christ while at a Billy Graham crusade and the Free Methodist church in Gowanda.

- Leadership, governance, and oversight
- Serving as a trusted adviser to the Executive Director in partnership with the Board to develop and implement the Dayton Food Pantry strategic plan
- Reviewing outcomes created by the Dayton Food Pantry for evaluating its impact, and regularly measuring its performance and effectiveness.
- Reviewing agenda and supporting materials prior to board and committee meetings
- Approving the annual budget, audit reports, and relevant business decisions; being informed of and meeting all legal and fiduciary responsibilities
- Hire, monitor and evaluate the Executive Director
- Assisting the Executive Director, board chair and governance committee in identifying and recruiting other Board members
- Partnering with the Executive Director and other board members to ensure that board resolutions are carried out
- Serving on committees or task forces and taking on special assignments as needed
- Representing the Dayton Food Pantry to stakeholders; acting as an ambassador for the organization
- Ensuring the Dayton Food Pantry commitment to a diverse board and staff that reflects the communities that the Dayton Food Pantry serves

- Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and a passion for improving the lives of the Dayton Food Pantry clients and our communities.
